Capt. Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure
An extremely flexible polymer-based treatment for leaks from hairline cracks in all boat-building materials. Particularly effective for mystery leaks around windows, hatches, decks and for sealing around deck fastenings, sheet winches, stanchions and chain-plates etc... without dismantling.
Can be used on GRP, wood, rubber, steel, aluminium, glass, PMMA, polycarbonate, and concrete. Also safe to use on polystyrene.
Its principle feature is that being thinner than water, it finds its way inside the crack by capillary action and there sets to form a clear permanent seal. Size 60ml
The sealant, being thinner than water, finds its way right into hairline cracks and joints where other sealants cannot reach.
The rapid absorption of the sealant into a surface indicates the source of a leak.
It's quick and easy to apply - there's no need to remove old sealants - you just apply the sealant along the line of a crack or joint until no more is absorbed.
It saves time and effort as the sealant can penetrate deep into structures, there is no need to take items apart or put them back together again. Waterbased and non-toxic. The sealant is safe to use and can even be applied to cracks when they are slightly damp.
